Outdoors, Masashi often looks toward the sky.
Indoors, he listens to the silence of the room—sometimes with his eyes closed—sensing the air before any sound begins.

A Shared Moment
When the space answered.
During an outdoor performance, the music began almost in silence.
As rain started to fall, the audience remained where they were, listening without opening umbrellas. The piece gradually built toward a climax.
Without exchanging a glance, the performers entered a section that had never been written.
For a moment, the music, the rain, the performers, and the audience seemed to move as one. After the final sound, the performers left the stage with only a handshake.
The music did not create the connection.
It revealed what was already there.
